AusTimber has established a place in the international calendar, a show which exhibitors and industry alike look forward to every four years.

In March 2000, AusTimber attracted over 8,000 visitors from 28 different countries.  Over 350 sites (230 indoor and 120 outdoor) were crammed full of the latest equipment, products and services.

Because of the success of  AusTimber in 2000 we are expecting at least a 25% increase in exhibitors with, in particular, an expansion of the truck, trailer and truck accessories section, plus increased interest from the banking, finance and insurance industries.    We are also expecting a substantial increase in interest from the large number of companies who are involved in farm forestry and plantation establishment.

Exhibitors attending AusTimber described it as ... "the best forestry exhibition ever attended"..."lots of interest in our products"..."we've had an excellent response"..."secured some significant deals"..."the visitors were very good quality".

Albury is regarded as Australia's leading regional conference and exhibition destination.  It is also geographically central to most major forest regions around Australia, and has some of Australia's largest softwood plantations nearby.  Thousands of rooms of quality accommodation are available.

Albury also boasts a large variety of top

class restaurants and clubs for your dining enjoyment.
